The Concept
The core of the identity is a distinctive anniversary mark combining:
The numbers 6 and 5 — representing the 65-year milestone
The silhouette of a film reel — referencing the legacy of cinematography
The symbol was constructed using a negative space technique, subtly hiding both the number 5 and the reel shape within the form. This layered visual solution adds depth and rewards closer observation, echoing the idea that cinema itself reveals meaning through perspective and light.

Visual Direction
The system balances archival seriousness with a modern, almost neo-brutalist poster aesthetic.
High-contrast typography, raw textures, and structured grid compositions reference the materiality of analog film and traditional print. At the same time, bold color accents introduce a contemporary energy, positioning the institution as active and forward-looking rather than purely historical.
The identity was designed to function across:
Event posters
Social media communication
On-site signage
Printed materials
